A chicken dish that I taught John to make. Chicken, canned tomatoes, garlic, white wine, onion and other vegies with rice. There was only one problem when he cooked it tonight. He forgot the garlic, so it tasted a bit bland.

ORIGINAL: wolfvanzandt Cauliflower Fennel soup.......that sounds like something to experiment with..... :) Was that a cream soup? Yes. Basically I cooked a head of cauliflower, russet potatoes, onion, celery, and two fennel bulbs in stock. When tender I used my immersion blender but left it kind of lumpy. Then added more stock and half and half, salt and white pepper. So yummy.

Chicken, rice and broccoli casserole. I love this meal. It is one of my all time favorites.

Woof! Didn't have to cook...the Boy Scouts awards banquet was tonight. They had beef tips and rice, green beans and some big, fat, yeast rolls.....oh, and cake - I left that alone....

We are having chili. We were going to have minute steaks but someone changed the menu.

I was going to cook schnitzel with noodles. But we decided to get salads and baked potatoes from Wendy's instead.
