chicken salad on a croissant. chicken salad was made with boiled chicken cut in chunks, red grapes, celery, chopped walnuts and some light mayo. It was so yummy. I served a salad on the side from cuttings out of our garden.

Baked Alaskan cod and a Greek spinach pasta salad I improvised. Served with a glass of our favorite Riesling.

Bacon wrapped turkey breasts and who knows what else. Suggestions?

I forgot beets. . . we're also having beets and fresh green salad from the garden. And fresh fruit.

I'm behind!

Friday night, I made a really nice shrimp bisque and a salad with a dressing I threw together. Last night I had a Mechelina Light entre with another salad, and today I ate with some friends and had sausage, baked beans (really good, they cooked ground beef in teh beans), deviled eggs, roasted corn on the cob, and garlic bread. I didn't brave the ribs - I'm miising teeth in front and the corn was a big enough challenge.

Drunk chicken

What did the chicken get drunk on? It didn't try to cross the road, did it?

I had chicken cordon bleu with roasted veggies. Custard for dessert.

He got drunk on vodka! I didn't want to waste scotch or rum while experimenting.

I cooked two chicken-style burgers but only managed to stomach the one after a certain photo was shown on the news....

I was going to make burgers on the grill for Hubby and pork chops for myself, but Hubby emailed that he went to a buffet for lunch - which means he won't want supper.

I guess it's just pork chops then!
