Father, today I just want to thank you for being there with me every step of the way. Looking back I can see how many times you carried me, protected me, kept me from doing myself harm, led me in a direction I would not have chosen, sent other Christians my way at just the right time, provided food when I thought the pantry was empty, healed illnesses. The list just goes on and on. Thank you Lord.

Oh yes, Father. You can bring so much joy into a life when that person just puts their trust in you. I know, Father, you have made us all different for a reason and ask that you give us the gift of understanding. Help us to be compassionate and patient with those we don't understand. Help me, Lord, not to look at a person and say in my heart "they are not walking close to you". Let me look at my own heart and and the joy and peace I often forfeit by not giving it to you. Help me to bring comfort to others who are not as fortunate as I. I have those close to me, Father, that are not quick to see the beauty around them or find joy in little things. Lord, I thank you that you have given me that gift. I take no credit for it, Lord. It was just the way I was made. I ask that I be understanding of those who look at the world in a different way.

Thank you for the gifts that you have given sarju60, specifically the gift of seeing the beauty in things around her and the gift of finding joy in little things. I am such a needy person, I ask for many things from you, but here in this moment I want to give you the honor and praise that you deserve. Father today I ask that your forgive me for giving into anger instead of turning to you first. Lord it is so wrong for me not to go to my knees in prayer instead of letting the enemy have his way with my emotions. Lord you are so good and always bring me peace. Let me learn to seek that peace first in all situations.

Please protect us from those people who disrespect you so much that they continually strive to take you out of textbooks. We pray that you protect us from school boards that strive to take mention of your Son out of the classrooms. We ask that you protect us from individuals who ignore the writings of the founding fathers of the United States. We pray that you protect us from those who disrespect us so much that they try to control our beliefs instead of trying to promote freedom.

Father I know I often come to this thread when I am in need and today is no exception but I would like to start off by thanking you for all you have given me and my family, for the many many blessings we have enjoyed and all our needs provided. Lord I know you will continue to provide and for that I thank you. I just ask, Lord that you help us to sell our building and get out from under the huge expense it is to us. I pray that you continue to provide our needs. I am not asking for riches, Lord, just the ability to make ends meet. Thank you.
