Our Father, I think yesterday I was hit from my blind spot.

My day became chaotic and filled with anxiety. As time went on I felt increasingly rushed and disoriented. I regretted choices I made and could not find Your Peace which thankfully does not allude me too much. I came running to You seeking Your forgiveness for stepping out ahead and around Your Will. Beneath Your Sheltering Wings I hid from my day, thankful for Your faithfulness.

You settled my heart, and stilled my soul and I rested. Blessed rest. I felt encouraged once again, Your Peace lifted my spirit AND THEN, AND THEN, You, most gracious and beautiful LORD, a little while later You blessed me yet again. You gave me a gift, a surprising gift, You touched a person's heart and this person saw the stress in my heart their behavior has brought. The person actually asked "how come you never told me" and I responded but I have remember this time and that time and you responded like this. And this person slowly nodded their head and asked for forgiveness.

What I have tried for years, You, O LORD, brought about in an instant. On the day of my own created chaos, not only did You forgive me You also graciously blessed me. Thank You, Father, thank You for Your lovingkindness. I love You.

To GOD be the glory, through our Lord Jesus I pray. Amen.

I think of the scripture that says be still and know that I am God. In the stillness of this moment before the day begins I long for your awesome presence, the peace that comes from being near you. Although I can't yet see you face to face, I see you in the world around me, in the songs of the birds, in the beauty of the flowers, and magesty of the mountains, the wonder of the depths of the sea. I see you Lord in the scriptures, I see the truth of your word, and I see you in the person of Jesus, so good, perfect, and pure. God, it is a beautiful thing when we take the time to remember just what You do for us each and every day. We have Your Word that has been spoken through generations. It is filled with Your promises to the faithful. You provide us with everything we need. We are clothed in Your whole armor. At times like now I feel rumblings inside, as if I am to pray for something and I know not what.
I'm thankful for our savior Jesus the Messiah, through whom I can come boldly to Your throne.
