Some of my most wonderful prayer times have been when there's no pressing need on my heart to pray about, nor any guilt over how long it has been since I last talked with my Heavenly Father. There's a real and sensible notion to not start praying with the thought 'whatever' in your mind, yet sometimes I wonder if I do not pray so much because I think I have to have it all summarized real nicely first. Please join me in praying for things just because God's made that possible. Specifics don't have to be spelled out, and there's no prize for longest prayer.
Father God,
Thank You for loving me, for the sharing of Your Son, Jesus- that I could know how great that love is for me. Thank You for the blessings of this day, for helping me overcome challenges. Thank You for Your Word, Your Spirit, and for prayer.
Forgive me when I consider talking to You only when I have a hefty prayer list. When I place You as someone who I'd bother somehow and be too interruptive of with my feeble cries, help me realize you hear me even then. As I strive to do things on my own until a Big Problem arises, help me to realize it's the little problems that steal away my joy in conquering the Big one that You would help me to learn.
Thank You God, You are so good to me.

Heavenly Father
Thank you for OneJohn410 and his prayer that he is sharing with us this day. Thank you Father for your love and for your faithfulness for there is none like it. Thank you for the little things in this life that a lot of us take for granted. and Thank you Father for your forgiveness when when stray from following you and try to go our own way. Thank you Father for never leaving us or forsaking us and for being our best friend in times of trouble. In Jesus name amen

Thank you for OneJohn410's perseption in this matter.
Thank you that we can talk with you without feeling the need to seek your help for a problem. Thank you that we can talk with you as a friend because we like your company. Help us to walk with you as people of old in the Bible, but in a way that we are in step with you and in contact with you at all times. Thank you so much for making yourself available to be our faithful friend. I pray this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Father,
Thank You for those on this forum who remind me of spiritual things I have forgotten.
Thank You for this day and my life and my children. Thank You that you are taking care of me and that I have
a roof over my head and food to eat. Thank you that I have another day to live for You. Please give me opportunities
to tell others about Your goodness. Help me to do everything today to please You and forgive me for the things
I have done that are not in Your will. I praise You and thank You for providing answers to my prayers that are so
far beyond what I asked. Everything You do comes in the right way and at exactly the right time. You are worthy
of all praise and glory and honor. Help me to be the kind of person you want me to be, Lord, because I am so
selfish and self-centered that it is easy for me to get off the path You have chosen for me. Lead, guide, and direct
me every minute of every day and night. Give me wisdom and courage to do Your will even when I am surrounded
with temptations and my carnal nature pushes me to do otherwise. Lord, be with me today and protect me from
the evil one.
I pray in Jesus' name,

Father, I am thankful for when I come to you for no other reason than to praise you. You love when you children speak to you. We do not have to be praying for any one thing in particular. We can come to you as a child would go to an earthly father. I thank you for the times we spend when it is just you and I, no worries, wants or needs being brought forward. Just a love and appreciation for all you are doing in my life. Life is good and I can't thank you enough for not giving up on me. In the precious name of You Son, Jesus. Amen

You are more than I can comprehend—the fact that you are omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient, eternal, that you are love (not that you merely have love, but that you are love), that you hear and answer our prayers, that you are making mortals immortal. Thank you for it all.

I love when I can be still in Your Presence. I love that I can run to You for comfort and protection. I love to make You smile. I love Your Strength. I love You, Abba.
I love Jesus for He loves us so much and is always ready to intercede. I love the Peace which He has given. I love The Word. I love You, my Friend.
I love the tugs and pushes and whispers of the Holy Spirit. I love the consistent counseling and help I receive every step of the way even if I am not paying attention. I love when things happen by Your Spirit.
I thank You that You are Love.

God, You are so good to me. I praise You for the joy of my salvation. You looked ahead so long ago and saw me. I would need your son, too. Forgive me for the sins of mine that helped nail Him to the cross. Thank You for the reminder that even in pain, I still must praise. In sorrow, I still seek. You are worthy of all praise!

Thank you for the examples in the Bible of indivuduals who walked with you. I ask in Jesus Christ's name that you work it out so that we, too, will walk with you. Amen.

There is no mountain too high, no valley too low, that You can not reach us and rescue our souls. I thank You, Lord, for Your hand stretching out to deliver us in our times of trouble. Our Father, I think yesterday I was hit from my blind spot.
My day became chaotic and filled with anxiety. As time went on I felt increasingly rushed and disoriented. I regretted choices I made and could not find Your Peace which thankfully does not allude me too much. I came running to You seeking Your forgiveness for stepping out ahead and around Your Will. Beneath Your Sheltering Wings I hid from my day, thankful for Your faithfulness.

I felt encouraged once again, Your Peace lifted my spirit AND THEN, AND THEN, You, most gracious and beautiful LORD, a little while later You blessed me yet again. The person actually asked "how come you never told me" and I responded but I have remember this time and that time and you responded like this. And this person slowly nodded their head and asked for forgiveness.
What I have tried for years, You, O LORD, brought about in an instant. On the day of my own created chaos, not only did You forgive me You also graciously blessed me. Thank You, Father, thank You for Your lovingkindness. I love You.
To GOD be the glory, through our Lord Jesus I pray. Amen.
