Matt had to travel out of state for an emergency repair for another work site.
Please pray for him to have protection in every way and to return home this evening rather than overnight.
I worry when he is out of state. pray for my peace.

Last night was awful. Matt's father actually told him "I love you and I love your wife, but I love your kids more". AND "If you are ever in a sinking boat you can go down, but save the kids".
We need support and this is what we get from his dad. I really don't know what to say. please pray. we are supposed to have lunch with them tomorrow...obviously I don't want to go.

Please continue to pray for our peace over Matt's dads painful words.
Matt's p.o. is coming tomorrow night to our home. Pray for her visit to be as quick as usual, with no bad words or surprises. Pray she comes early so we can get on with our night. Pray Matt continues to be seen with favor in the p.o.'s eyes.
Please pray God continues to guide us in our future plans, our move, as well as Matt's employment opportunities. Pray God inspires courses to take and opens doors for us and hope and joy with it.

Father, a great sadness comes over me when I see how unthinking people can be. Lord I ask that you remove any pain that this may have caused from Matt and from his wonderful helpmate. Lord I ask that the visit with the P.O will be early and over quickly, leaving no bad feelings behind. I ask that you open many doors to Matt and ppodmama in the future. Please let this all be behind them very quickly.

I really had hoped that as we got past the first year of probation, it would become easier, but it is getting harder. Yesterday I had anxiety and chest pains and the p.o. came very late, which makes it worse.
Thank You God, that the p.o. was more friendly than ever, she even joked around with us (that has never happened before) and she suggested a place to stay in a neighboring town when we visit there.
This was nice, but it is still tough.
I sense we are getting depressed. Pray we can stay future focused and invest our time well in each other.
We are having a couples weekend this weekend. Pray for peace before during and after so the good blessings of that much needed time can soak all the way to the roots of our souls and be a source of strength.
Usually by thursday we are so exhausted from dealing with all this we melt down.

Lord I ask for extra strength for ppodmama and Matt as they enter into the end of the week. Lord please erase all the bad and all the stress from them and let this be a weekend for renewing of strength. I ask in Jesus name.

True to usual, feelings are bad again at the end of the week...this is all just becoming so raw and much harder to feign joy.....
Pray our weekend together as a couple can be blessed...some sunshine would help...it's been so rainy...makes me depressed.
